Olivia Johnson, Billerica, MA was awarded the Jane C. McDaid Memorial Scholarship. She graduated from Arlington Catholic High School where she was active in sports, participating in spring and winter track and serving as captain of her soccer team. She was a member of her Spanish club and active in her campus ministry. She volunteered at her school as an Admissions Open House tour guide and for her town’s youth summer programs, in addition to holding a part-time job outside of school activities. Olivia will attend Saint Anselm College this fall to study Communications with the hope of entering the field of public relations or working for a nonprofit organization. She wants to volunteer in bigger more meaningful ways in the future and hopes her efforts can make changes in the world.
