FFC is proud to present Eric Zhang, a talented young pianist who wants to share his piano playing with the FFC community. Eric is playing to help fundraise for FFC’s annual Paces for Faces Walk.
Eric is 15 years old and was born with a bilateral cleft lip & palate. You can listen to the songs he shared with the FFC community in the below YouTube playlist.
Eric says, “When I was still a baby, my parents were worried about my hearing but Dr. Mulliken re-assured them that I’d even be able to play the violin. While I don’t play the violin, I do play the piano and my piano teacher says I have sharp hearing. I feel very lucky and hope that you feel the same way. Because we have the best medical team on the planet and we also have the FFC there to support us. Due to COVID-19, we are indoors most of the time so I thought sharing my piano playing might cheer you up.” Hope you enjoy it!
