Julia is FFC’s Jane C. McDaid Memorial Scholar. She is active in sports as a varsity swimmer serving as Captain her senior year in high school and attaining impressive school records. Julia is a passionate volunteer, whose community service includes traveling to Bogota, Columbia for a mission trip with Operation Smile. In addition, Julia provided peer mentoring at her high school.
In ten years Julia hopes to be working for a governmental or national organization helping people. An additional interest for Julia is working in the field of global health which was spurred by her trip to Bogota. She hopes whatever her position it can have a wider impact on others.
