Beshoy Armanios, Natick, MA was awarded the Dotty MacDonald Scholarship. He graduated from Natick High School where he was active in sports — basketball, football and baseball. He volunteered extensively through his church, visiting elderly in local nursing homes as well as working at his church’s summer camp for elementary-age children. His most memorable volunteer activity was assisting children at the annual Special Olympics this past year. Last summer, he was able to travel abroad to Egypt. In the fall, Beshoy will attend Providence College in Providence, R.I., to study Biology and Neurology. His dream is to go into neurologic research in order to explore cures for disorders such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.
