Our Fall 2024 issue of Facing the Future is NOW available!! See what FFC has been up to lately!

Please consider making a donation that will support the new and ongoing efforts of FFC. We remain committed to offering medically-accurate instructional videos and resources, educational programming and sessions on topics of social and emotional development, parent support, scholarship awards, and family gatherings to foster relationships within the FFC community.

The 2024 Scholarship Awards Presentation was held virtually on June 20th at 7pm. In it's 25th year, FFC awarded post-secondary education scholarships to five remarkable students. The Foundation for Faces of Children takes immense pride in celebrating and servicing individuals within our craniofacial community. The FFC Cares Grant is intended to help offset a small amount of the cost burden for families who are receiving medical care. Whether it be assistance with gas for long distance travel, a meal voucher, parking assistance, or a contribution to local hotel stay while receiving care, the FFC recognizes all of the lengths our families will go to receive care for their child. These costs add up, and we want to help.

Meet Eric Zhang, a talented 15 year old pianist, who was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. He has played many songs for our enjoyment and volunteered to offer the FFC Community Free Virtual Piano Tutoring lessons.

Dr. James MacLaine had the idea for a new device to improve on existing appliances for pre-surgical orthopedics. In 2017, the FFC gave Dr. MacLaine a grant to further develop the device. After many design evolutions, he has found the right combination of function, size and robustness.
