Danielle Craig, adjunct professor and owner of EmpoweringU LLC, traveled from New Jersey to talk to us about body image, bullying, and empowering ourselves on Feb 9th. She used letter writing, reading poems and stories, and creating vision boards to help the kids work through their experiences.
FFC families watched the Providence Bruins play the Springfield Thunderbirds on Saturday, Jan 26 and won 3 to 2.
FFC celebrated the end of 2018 with a Paint Party at The Paint Bar in Newton, MA on Dec. 8th! Families came to the paint class, enjoyed snacks and refreshments, and brought their paintings home. It was a fun way to end a great year!
The 2018 Making Faces Workshop was held on October 20th. The workshop was lead by Michael Williams-Stark who traveled here from Canada. He teaches communication skills, building self esteem and self confidence through improv.

FFC took families to watch two baseball games this summer: The July 8th Pawtucket Red Sox vs Scranton Wilkes-Barre game and Aug 19 Lowell Spinners vs Tri-City ValleyCats game.
The Lessons Learned Mother's Day Brunch was held on May 5th, 2018 at the Embassy Suites in Waltham, MA with featured guest speaker, Dr. Eliza Bronfman, Psychologist at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Bronfman spoke about "Healthy Parenting Children with a Facial Difference" and her slides are shared under Resources.
