SpiroAnthony Stathas is from Dracut, MA and graduated from Dracut High School. He is active in sports participating in both Varsity soccer and outdoor Track. He is also a black-belt in karate. SpiroAnthony is a member of National Honor Society, National Foreign Language Society, and National Business Honor Society. He has won awards twice via the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists, as well as serving as a delegate for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders. SpiroAnthony has also held several leadership positions: President of the National Honor Society and President of his Debate Club. His community service includes volunteering as the ESL interpreter for a Greek foreign Exchange student, volunteering at the VA hospital in Bedford, and training search and rescue canine with a local police service. SpiroAnthony has also completed an internship with the Alzhiemer’s Research service at Bedford VA contributing efforts towards a new spectrophototometry research funding grant.
SpiroAnthony will be attending the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA where he will be pursuing a pre-med track. In ten years, he hopes to have completed his undergraduate work as well as medical school and begin training to be a neurosurgeon.
